It kinda seems like whoever wrote back also used Google Translate for the email. No RMA # or anything, and that it would take a while for them to get around to testing it. Very dismissive from the very first email, saying if I absolutely must send it back to them, then I have to pay for shipping, insurance, etc (which is typical anyway, but definitely not 'typical' in the way they were saying it). BeQuiet's "customer" support are kinda jerks, too. The BeQuiet PSU is still under warranty, but after spending over $500 on it a few months ago, I'm rather pissed about having to spend another ~$200 just to ship it to California, from Canada, near Toronto. All check out fine, just like they always did before, so I'm really thinking my issue at least is the PSU (I've also tried switching the PSU to single rail 12V, too. Ran chkdsk, sfc /scannow, verified integrity of game files, all kinds of things. Gaming computer is working again, but I'm back to these really odd errors all over again. I put the 750W in there, put the 1200W back into my gaming computer. My Corsair HX1200i was put into my media server. Swapped it out with a Corsair 750W, just to see if my computer would start, and it did. Tried a whole bunch of stuff, but couldn't get the power supply to turn on any more. I was playing SOTR and I heard a loud pop and my computer shut down. After switching it out all the problems stopped. So I bought a BeQuiet Dark Power Pro 12 1200W at the end of September. It was the only thing I hadn't tried to swap out. I can't remember where, but I read something about a PSU. I tried swapping out all the parts, reformatted countless times, nothing seemed to fix the errors. I'd get really random crashes with some games while others would seem fine. I have a beast of a machine and I was running a Corsair HX1200i for a long time. I wouldn't entirely dismiss the PSU idea. I really like this game but can't figure out what to do. Mostly I just want to rule out hardware and then pursue a solution. Uninstalled the game and reinstalled, verified files, etc. exe profile and made sure to update all drivers, windows, etc. I un-overclocked the CPU and GPU to stock, however have stressed tested and benchmarked at stock and OC settings with no issues, using Heaven, 3D Mark, and CinebenchR23. Games like Forza 5 on max settings played thru Xbox game pass have no issues. games like Portal2, Witcher3, Res Evil2 on high settings played thru Steam on the same drive have no issues. sometimes will suddenly stop and go back to Steam menu, sometimes will reboot system crashes whether direct x 12 checked or not, low or high settings I'll try a couple forums, but thought this was a direct community to try first. It so far seems to be isolated only to this game. I've read many posts and videos and can not solve this. Maybe a week ago it began to crash while playing, then crashes within 5 minutes every time I try to play. I played SotTR for about a week on highest settings without issue.
